So when is it acceptable to ask a woman if she’s sporting a baby bump under her shirt? Um, it’s never okay to ask a woman if she’s pregnant. That is unless she’s actively holding an ultrasound pic of her soon-to-be baby and wearing a shirt that announces, “I’m pregnant!”

When supermodel and mama to two Chrissy Teigen joined hubby John Legend at the Emmy Awards, she was in for some serious social media trolling afterward. Teigen is no stranger to very public criticism. Whether it’s how she sits on a slide with her daughter or a pic of her breastfeeding baby Miles, it seems like the celeb mama just can’t get a break.

Well, it looks like the online trolls were at it again, following the Emmy’s. Even though Teigen wowed on the ‘gold’ carpet in a super-slit sparkly silver Zuhair Murad gown, there were still…uh, inappropriate questions about her body. One Twitter-er tweeted, “I’m asking this with the utmost respectful, but is @chrissyteigen pregnant again?”

And how did the mom of two respond to someone questioning her post-baby body? Teigen clapped back, tweeting, “I just had a baby but thank you for being soooo respectful.”

Whether it’s a teeny tiny belly bloat from a ‘food baby’ following a big meal or a questionable dress (a similar situation happened to TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie after she went on-air in a high-waisted ensemble), it is never EVER okay to ask, “Are you pregnant?”
