During the glory days (in our opinion) of animation, you had to wait until Saturday morning to get your fill of cartoon fun. Now, tech-savvy kids have access to what seems like an unlimited number of shows, and—luckily for you—the cult-favorites are available too. From wascally wabbits to Thundercats, Ho!, here are nine classic cartoon series perfect for streaming with your little people.

Popeye the Sailor Man

Power Greens are now “a thing,” but the trend still can’t touch Popeye for making kids excited about downing the dark, leafy stuff. You have fond memories of the old seadog and his superpower spinach strength, the on-going love triangle between Popeye, Olive Oyl and Bluto and the blunderings of other loveable characters like Sweet Pea, and hamburger-loving J Wellington Wimpy, so even if there’s a little more violence than modern-day shows, let your kids enjoy an iconic character who proves it’s important, fun and worthwhile to do good deeds and eat healthy foods.
