You might manage to slather your kids in sunscreen before hitting the beach, but between the sand and the squirming chances are you don’t get to reapply as often or as well as you should. But what if you could get a warning if your kids are about to get sunburned? These new color-changing shirts promise to do exactly that.

According to adam & aoki, the makers of this magical shirt, it can warn you when it senses that your kids are about to get burned. The sleeve of the shirt, which is activated when exposed to UV rays from the sunburn action spectrum, will change color as a warning. That’s when you know it’s time to get out of the sun before it’s too late.

Since not all skin is the same and some are more susceptible to burning than others, the t-shirt comes in three variations: very sensitive for skin that burns easily and doesn’t tan, less sensitive for those that burn sometimes and non-sensitive for skin that almost never burns.

The t-shirt comes in five designs, including a lion and a flamingo, and is currently available through the company’s Indiegogo campaign for $44 to $49. The t-shirts are expected to start shipping in June 2019, just in time for summer.
