The craft store giant is hiring for the holidays! And that’s not a surprise. Come on, everyone wants a Pinterest-perfect holiday mantel. And you’ll need Michaels for that decorative display—and more! Michaels is hiring a reported 15,000 temporary employees for the holiday season. Not only do seasonal hires get a competitive wage, but they’ll also receive a 30 percent in-store discount.
The big red bullseye super-store is hiring a whopping 120,000 seasonal employees. These jobs include positions in the store as well as distribution and fulfillment centers. Along with a $12/hour wage, Target’s seasonal employees can also enjoy the company’s 10 percent in-store discount.
The upscale home goods fave is hiring a reported 3,500 work-from-home employees over the holiday season. These remote positions include 30- to 50-hour work week customer service positions. The current going rate for this job starts at a much-needed $12 and hour.
The mega-online retailer recently announced they’re giving all minimum wage employees a nice boost to their paychecks, raising minimum wage to $15 an hour. Amazon is reportedly hiring 100,000 seasonal workers, including positions in the company’s fulfillment and delivery facilities.
