Planes haven’t been on your radar since Maverick and Top Gun, but your little captain loves flying the friendly skies. Take her up, up and away at 11 awesome aviation centers perfect for petite pilots. From interactive exhibits to real-life aircrafts, you’re now boarding for the next family adventure.

Frontiers of Flight Museum – Dallas, Tx

There are 27 airplanes, ranging from a Wright Flyer to a Lockhead T-33A, on display at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Aspiring aviators can wander through a complete Boeing 737-300 aircraft filled with fun Southwest Airlines memorabilia (the company was founded in Dallas), play in the large area complete with lookout tower and play plane, and take a peek inside the model shop located near the museum lobby, where skilled crafters can be found working on a daily basis.

Good to know: The family programs running throughout year, including Wings of Freedom Tour, Engineers Week, Moon Day and Cockpit Day, are always a hit.
