What do you do when your kid wants to go do Disneyland but you can’t afford the trip? You do what you can.
That’s exactly what this super-strong daddy did when he recreated the thrills of a theme park without leaving home. The YouTuber, KentuckyFriedIdiot, posted an adorable video titled, “Poor People Roller Coaster,” showing just how he did it.
“Since it’s too expensive we did the next best thing,” he wrote, according to Mashable.
According to Mashable, his daughter really wanted to go to Disneyland, but it was too expensive; instead, the resourceful dad simulated the bumps and jiggles of drops of the ride by lifting his daughter up in a plastic box and simulating the ride in a POV video on TV. And by the sounds of her squeals and giggles, this may be enough.
So while it’s true, you don’t need money to ride an awesome roller coaster, you do need pretty strong arms.
