Winter in Dallas is a great time of year to plan some new adventures with the family. Lace Up Those Ice Skates
If you didn't get your fill of ice skating at the holiday pop ups last month, you can still enjoy this fun family activity in January. The Galleria offers daily open skating hours and you can even sign the kids up for lessons if they need some extra help with their spins.
Head Out on a Family Hike
Take advantage of the mild temps in the winter to head out on a family hike. You'll find loads of ideas here including our favorite, the Oak Creek Nature Preserve. Check Out the Rooftop Cinema Club
Head to The Central to enjoy movies under the stars from the comfort of your car. Through the month of January they are offering a number of kid-friendly flicks like Toy Story 4, Inside Out and The Goonies.
Visit the Topiaries in the Garden
Explore Fort Worth Botanic Garden's newest exhibit Topiaries in the Garden, featuring 12 plant-based animal shapes, such as elephants, giraffes and butterflies.
Visit the Dinosaurs
