Things are really coming up roses–er, cherry blossoms–this weekend in the District. The annual National Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off on Saturday with a series of fam-friendly events, including an open indoor picnic at the National Building Museum. Other happenings to brighten your weekend: a touch-a-truck meet-up, and a pre-Easter family party, and a music-tinged Shamrockfest.

National Cherry Blossom Festival Tokyo Picnic Club
