Gaithersburg Book Festival
The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a free annual celebration of great books and great writing that has made its mark as one of the nation’s top literary events. More than 100 featured best-selling and award-winning authors will participate in panel discussions and book signings at the festival.  Other activities include free, interactive writing workshops, a Children’s Village, literary exhibitors, the Brew and Vine Cafe featuring live entertainment! Old Town Festival of Style and Speed
The inaugural Old Town Festival of Speed & Style will debut on King Street near Alexandria’s waterfront. The single-day free event will span across three blocks on lower King Street and will feature approximately 60 rare and unusual supercars from around the world such as Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, Lamborghini, Aston-Martin and Cobra for up close viewing enjoyment. On display will be a collection of high performance and racing cars from the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, paired with a fashion exhibition presented by the Old Town Boutique District. Sun.
