Located in downtown D.C. right off of the Gallery Place metro stop, this restaraunt is perfect for a quick bite especially if you’ve been museum hopping. The open space and the brightness makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the Mediteranean. With dishes like Ashta, a Lebanese-style french toast with bananas and orange blossom honey, you and your little one are definitely in for a treat. Don’t forget to try a traditional Turkish coffee!

701 9th St., NW (Chinatown)

If your little one is a pizza fan but you’re craving something more authentic than our American classics then try Menomale in Brookland. With ingredients sourced straight from Italy, you are guaranteed deliciousness in every bite. The Brooklandissima is must try!

2711 12th St., NE (Brookland)

Looking for a quick day date? Ocopa is a gem located in H street corridor. With dishes like Lomo Anticuchos, a beef skewer with scallions and potatoes, and the Super Pancakes with the LemonGrass maple syrup and a bottomless mimosa Uhm..YES! You will certainly curb your South American dreams for a few. ;)

Cactus Cantina
A definite favorite for quite some time in DC you must try Cactus Cantina if you haven’t already. Your little one can watch the tortillas being made and even make their own (ask your server for dough). A RedTri fav is the Tijuana fajitas because we always regret not getting the fajitas!

Palette 22
For an all encompassing brunch try Palette 22. Located in Shirlington Village in Arlington, Virginia, you will definitely have a visual brunch. With art for sale on the wall and a variety of small plates to choose from your fam will be in for a treat! A must try are Tonys French Toast Sticks because NUTELLA! and a chilled draught coffee because mama needs her gogo juice on ice!
