Sometimes it’s cold. Sometimes it rains. Sometimes you just don’t want to schlep the kids around the neighborhood. That’s why there are plenty of indoor Halloween activities to put a spin on the standard door-to-door trick-or-treating. Move the party inside by going to a concert at the posh Kennedy Center, get your game on at a carnival or knock out a few errands at the mall while your kiddos collect candy from participating vendors. As a bonus, some of these events happen before the actual holiday, giving you a chance to go traditional if the mood strikes.
