We all know the rhyme… old Mother Hubbard lived in a shoe. What better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend then frolicking around the Old Woman’s Shoe? Recently reopened for the season, Clark Elioak’s Farm offers a cow train, pony rides and a chance to pet farm animals. Plus, there are the Enchanted Forest attractions, which features larger-than-life features of classic fairytales. Robots for Mom
Brooklyn Robot Foundry is offering a pre-Mother’s Day class so kids can build a robot that will make mom’s gift this year! Children 6-10 years old can join this online class the day before Mother’s Day to make a Bracelet-0-Matic, which will churn out silly bracelets in all of their mom’s favorite color combinations. Sat. Virtual Mother’s Day Card Workshop
In this family-friendly workshop, you will make a Mother’s Day card with paper collage. This is an open-ended art project where everyone is encouraged to do “free art” and make independent choices on what materials to use and the outcome of the work.
