Chart House

A classic American cuisine special occasion restaurant that’s been a staple in the harbor front of Old Town Alexandria for almost three decades, the Chart House is also very accommodating for families with small children. It is a high end, old school, white table clothed, candles on the table, prime rib kind of place, but with nautical flair that adds a casual touch. They also have one of the world’s longest and fanciest salad bars (think, caviar!) that will delight your little one with different colors, shapes and tastes to try out. Kids menu, high chairs and crayons make things even easier. Ask for a window view, as the sight of the Potomac, sailboat activity and the touring boat on the docked will help keep your kiddos preoccupied throughout mealtime.
