Is your little one a fan of Hello Kitty? Let’s be real…are YOU a fan of the endearing little Sanrio cat character? If so, put on those comfy pink Keds and get ready to stand in line because the Hello Kitty Cafe Food Truck is coming to town! Here are the deets on when you can catch the truck in the DMV.

The Early Bird (er, Kitty) Gets the Worm
If last year’s appearance is any indication of what the crowds will be like this year, be ready to get there early and stand in line for quite a bit. Hello Kitty has a COLOSSAL cult following worldwide. The mobile vehicle of cuteness has been rolling up to festivals and events across the U.S. since its official debut at Hello Kitty Con two years ago. The pros of a longer wait? You’ll meet fellow Hello Kitty fans, young and old. 

Stock Up
Goodies that will be available for purchase on the truck include a 3-piece Hello Kitty cookie set, a rainbow macaroon box set that includes a surprise Sanrio character design, a 4-pack of mini cakes, and bow-shaped bottles of water (seriously!). Swag for purchase includes a Hello Kitty Cafe mug, an adorbs pink Hello Kitty Cafe t-shirt and, of course, her signature bow headband! All while supplies last so make sure to get in line early!! The truck doesn’t have a website and all appearances are announced via social media on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Road Trip
If you’re a SUPER fan and a truck just isn’t enough, buy a ticket to the West Coast! Last summer, Sanrio, opened the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container located in the Giant Wheel Court at the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, Ca.vThe Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container offers guests sweet HK themed and embellished snacks. If you’re lucky, you may even can a glimpse of Hello Kitty and her friends in the fun, colorful café. The Pop-Up aims to spread happiness, friendship and fun through their yummy goodies and don’t we all deserve more happiness, friendship and fun in our lives?
