It seems Puxatauney Phil was right about a long winter. Parents and kiddos alike are full of pent-up energy that needs to melt away faster than the snow outside our windows. Bundle up and get to the newest, bounciest place in town, Flight Trampoline Park located in Springfield, Va. (just 20 minutes from downtown D.C.).trampoline-park-dc

Fly Like an Eagle
What tyke doesn’t like jumping through three basketball courts (that’s 14,000 square feet) full of trampoline, tumbling space?  Not many!  Flight Trampoline Park is the latest craze in individual fitness for the adult-set and a kick-butt spot for the whole family to get their work-out on while having tons of fun. Open Jump times fill up fast on Fridays and Saturdays; but a fast and easy online reservation system eliminates any on-site sold-out disappointment.

Bounce Back
This bounce house on steroids offers up basketball courts and dodge ball too. Moms and Dads can jump with their tots through a trampoline obstacle course or participate in a Crossfit-style fitness classes located on-site.  Insider tip: Parents jump free with kids six and under every Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.  This place is a surefire way to wear your little energizer bunny out while letting off some much needed stress-induced steam.  How about that after a long commute?

Party Animals
The best part of this mecca of jump is not how needed it is here in the DMV, but the parties.  Fun for all ages, tots to grade-schoolers can have their birthday right here at Flight.  They can choose to party all night long with the sleepover option or just get their jump on for a few hours of high-action fun.  Even teens will flip over Friday and Saturday Club Flight with bouncing set to music and lasers. And if Springfield isn’t your scene then don’t flip just yet, a Chantilly site is set to open soon.

Open: Mon-Thu, 10 am-9 pm; Fri-Sat, 10 am-11 pm; Sun, 10 am-7 pm
Cost: $8/hour; kids under 2 free
