Check out this living history program highlighting local history (Camp McDonald served as a Confederate training camp for Georgia volunteers. The approximately 60-acre camp encompassed a large portion of present-day downtown Kennesaw.), and learn about both Union and Confederate points-of-view. Educators will share stories of the roles of women and African-Americans during the war—highlighting diverging voices of the time—to demonstrate the complicated nature of the war and its impact on those in the area.
