Enjoy a sandy beach and a roped off swimming area in the southeastern part of the park, just 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Look for the parking area and a building that has bathrooms and a place to change. Not far from the beach, you'll find a putt-putt golf course and a large playground area, plus a picnic area.
