Experience the breathtaking sight of maple trees ablaze in the colors of fall–one of the best times of the year to visit the Seattle Japanese Garden—at the annual Maple Festival taking place October 4 through October 14.
This family-friendly event will feature nature-inspired craft making, a maple tree scavenger hunt, live performances and other cultural activities. For tea ceremonies during the festival, please contact the gatehouse. Tickets are $10.
Note: The Tateuchi Community Room will be open to visitors to see a special exhibit of Seattle Japanese Garden’s Maple Collection made possible in collaboration with the University of Washington’s Otis Douglas Hyde Herbarium.
This event is free with garden admission. No advance tickets are necessary. Family and Individual memberships will be accepted at the event.
