Announcing the 50th annual Santa Train! The event takes place in the Snoqualmie Valley, just 30 minutes east of Seattle and runs weekends from Sat., Nov. 30 through Sat., Dec. 21. Children of all ages and their families will experience the best of the season aboard a Century-old train.
Santa Train is a two-hour program at the Northwest Railway Museum. Trains depart from the North Bend Depot for a 20-minute, 3.5-mile excursion to Snoqualmie. Guests detrain and enter the restored and seasonally-decorated 1890-built Snoqualmie Depot for a visit with Santa and all children will receive a small gift, and share their list with the famous toy-maker.Then, participants step on to the restored railway kitchen car to receive freshly-baked cookies and a choice of hot cocoa or coffee. With a few minutes to spare, guests may visit local shops and attractions before boarding the train for their return to North Bend.
Dates: Nov. 30-Dec. 1, Dec. 7-8, 14-15 & 20-21, 2019
Special Trains: A sensory needs train will run on Nov. 30 (9 a.m. & 10 a.m) and a Victorian-themed train will run on Dec. 20.
