The Conejo Valley Botanic Garden covers 33 acres of unique terrain in Thousand Oaks offering panoramic views of the Conejo Valley and abundant opportunities for education, conservation and recreation. While a significant portion of the Garden’s acreage is reserved to provide a natural habitat for birds and small animals, the developed area of the Garden incorporates eighteen specialty gardens that highlight water-conserving plants from California and other Mediterranean climates.
The Kids Adventure Garden provides an exciting place for children to learn about nature and gardening. The garden features a tree house and tea-party area and is located near the bird habitat and butterfly garden. Kids can also venture into the Botanic Garden, walking across wood bridges and passing by mossy rocks for a true outdoorsy experience.
