In partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (ICA LA) and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, CURRENT: LA FOOD is a month-long public arts initiative, which runs through November 3 in 15 public parks throughout Los Angeles. All installations and related programming, including 75 events, are free and open to all. As part of this initiative, on Sunday, November 3, from 11 am-1 pm, What’s Going on with Recycling?! Closing Celebration and Conversation takes place presented by Shana Lutker. Join an open discussion and workshop about the current state of recycling in Los Angeles. Get answers to questions about how to recycle and reduce waste. Closing ceremony and recycling of the Shana Lutker’s CURRENT art project. Family-friendly and accessible. Capacity is limited to 40; RSVP preferred, space given on a first-come, first-served basis.
