Come sit in a cockpit and experience Marine aviation from a pilot's perspective at the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum in San Diego. Cockpits of some of the aircraft on display will be open and pilots will be available to answer questions every other weekend during the summer.
See 31 historical aircraft up close at this indoor/outdoor attraction as well as hundreds of artifacts from the earliest days of aviation to present day. Kids and adults can strap into an ejection seat, try on a helmet and do an "I Spy" activity.
The Museum is open Tues.-Sun. from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (except federal holidays). Check the website for more information at flyingleathernecks.org. 858-693-1723. Admission and Parking are Free.
