Be a part of planting 100 new trees along the San Diego River in Santee. Come get your hands dirty digging holes, planting trees, watering and more. This fun event is a great opportunity to make new friends, give back, learn about urban forests and have a lasting effect on people and wildlife. By planting new trees in Walker Preserve you will be improving habitat for local animals and beautifying a local green space. All ages are welcome, tools are provided, no experience necessary, dress in clothes that can get a little dirty, closed toe shoes required, bring plenty of water and wear sun protection.  Please note that there are no restrooms on site.
