Explore: Grasslawn Park
Grasslawn Park is one of Redmond’s best spots for little ones. The park, which sits at the intersection of 148th Ave and Old Redmond Road, underwent a major renovation last year and the result is nothing short of stunning. The huge children’s play area has tons of bells and whistles including cool climbing structures, a splash pad, and a fountain. There are several areas of great-for-roaming green space, including a turf soccer field and a baseball diamond that’s filled with youth sports teams, a fun distraction on any afternoon. The park has an all-season picnic pavilion with glass walls that can be opened and a covered patio with café tables and chairs. For a post-playtime coffee, head up Old Redmond Road to the nearest Starbucks, which is in the same shopping center as Dairy Queen and Tech City – dip cone or bowling, anyone?
