Fire and Ice Winter Fest – Lava Hot Springs, Id – Feb. 2-4, 2018

This Idaho tradition isn’t a Game of Thrones convention, (sorry Jon Snow fans!) but it is an awesome winter festival. One highlight of the three day event is the children's free Water Carnival. It's full of float relays, wall climbing races and diving contests the whole fam can enjoy. The Torch Light parade down L Mountain and the fire dancers on Main Street will heat up crowds dealing with the chilly weather in Lava Hot Springs.

Travel Tip: Come for the festival, stay for the legendary hot springs and snow sports at pebblecfreekskiarea.com.
