Who loves free toys? Um, pretty much everyone. Well now your kiddo can get a free Build-A-Bear teddy bear! But you better move quick—because this deal is only good for a very limited time.
Build-A-Bear’s “Pay Your Age” sale didn’t exactly go as planned. When the stuff your own teddy bear or other furry friend retailer invited guests to pay the dollar amount that equaled their child’s age in years, the response was…uh, overwhelming. With lengthy lines that rivaled even the most crowded day at a Disney Park, plenty of bear-loving kiddos were left locked out of the sale. Thankfully, Build-A-Bear has a new and much more reasonable offer in celebration of National Teddy Bear Day this month.

So what’s this free bear offer all about? And more importantly, how can you take advantage of it? Sun., Sep. 9 is National Teddy Bear Day. And yes, there is a whole day that celebrates these fluffy pals. In honor of this very special day, customers who shop in Build-A-Bear stores on Sep. 8 or Sep. 9—and spend at least $15—are eligible to get a free teddy bear.
Oh, if you’re wondering how you can beat the crowds or if they’ll be a 12-hour line (again), you need to reserve a ticket in advance by Wed., Sep. 5 at 11:59 p.m. Central. Visit the Build-A-Bear Workshop website for reservations and more details.
