Freelance Writers: How to Get Paid Quickly from Red Tricycle

Hi there. We are so happy to be working with you to create awesome content!
We also want to make sure you are paid in a timeline manner so we’ve made some process improvements due to the high volume of invoices we receive every month.

 

  1. First step, if you haven’t already, sign up for a bill.com vendor account by clicking this link and then clicking on the “get paid” button pictured below. Tip: add your banking information to get paid more quickly via electronic transfer.  If you already have an account, skip to item 2. 
  2. Next, submit your invoice using the bill.com invoice tool. Note: This is a new process,.You no longer need to send an email with your invoice.
  3. Remember: Submit invoices by the 5th of the month to get paid by the 15th.
  4. If you have any questions about an outstanding invoice, please email AP@redtri.com and someone will respond within 1 business day.

 

 

FAQs

What if I submit my invoice after the 5th?
You will be paid on the next scheduled check run which may be after the 15th.

What if I have a really late invoice?
Submit it, and you will be paid on the next scheduled check run.

Can I submit 3 months of invoices at once?
Yes, you can include 3 months of writing assignments on 1 invoice, you don’t need to submit a separate invoice for each month. 

Can I use my own invoice?
Yes, though we prefer Bill.com invoicing tool, we recognize that some people need to use there own invoice for accounting purposes.
Please email your invoice to redtricycle@bill.com and include an invoice number, description of work done, and total amount due.
