Celeb mama Gabrielle Union is living the dream, and it has nothing to do with fame or wealth. Union recently opened up about her jobs as mother and actress—and how she feels about “mom guilt.”

We all know it’s not easy to find work-life balance. Union, like the rest of us mamas, isn’t immune to the issue. So how does the actress, and mama to nine-month-old Kaavia, deal with mommy-ing and working?

Union told Us Weekly, “I don’t have mom guilt.” She went on to add, “Being able to have the job that I love and the baby that I dreamed of is great. I’m a better mom because I’m able to go away and do what I love. Even if I failed miserably, I’m following my dreams. I would be less of a mother if I didn’t set out every day to try to make my dreams come true and other people’s dreams come true. So I don’t have guilt.”

The actress also credits the support she gets from other parents, saying, “We’re all kind of rooting for each other.”
