Where to Stay
The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Resort is located on a secluded stretch of white sand beach, where guests can enjoy all of the sunbathing and swimming they like away from the crowds. This luxury family option is a 602-room resort, that houses multiple restaurants, an upscale spa, an incredible kids club and an array of room sizes and types that all provide stunning ocean views. Outside, the resort has three gorgeous pools with sweeping beach views where guests can relax, eat, drink and play. There is an area for children and a pool (with a swim-up bar) for adults.
The rooms come in a variety of sizes that range from Jr. Suite with either a king or two double beds to a Presidential Suite that spans 5,140 square feet and has two bedrooms a Jacuzzi tub a living room and a kitchen. We suggest the Grand Club Junior or the Grand Club Master. These rooms offer multiple bed options and come with sitting areas, Jacuzzi tubs, luxurious bathrooms and amazing outdoor patios.

Ú by Grand Fiesta Americana
Not a traditional all-inclusive resort, the recently unveiled Ú program offers guests the opportunity to get all-inclusive perks along with luxury family accommodations. When families sign up for the program they gain access to special areas reserved for the program, along with lavish services and above-and-beyond amenities both pool and beachside as well as a dedicated lounge and concierge service. This package also includes unlimited dining at award-winning restaurants, unlimited handcrafted beverages and access to their incredible kids’ club that is newly built and designed to make kids’ vacation dreams come true.
The moment you step through the resorts front door as U member, you’ll experience the difference as you are whisked away for a bubbly beverage and a spa treatment. They make sure your getaway is as rejuvenating as it should be–even with kids in tow.
Where to Play
To begin Grand Coral Beach Resort has the single most private beach in Cancun. Additionally, if you are a U member, you have special access to a sun deck where you will be served food and drinks as you relax. The whole family will easily enjoy spending time digging in the sand and floating in the ocean. The protected beaches have calm waters perfect for the younger set who are just dying to get their feet wet in the beautiful blue Caribbean waters. There’s even a dock tied down an easily swimmable distance from shore for those looking for a little adventure and a perfect launch pad for wave jumping.
The resorts’ pools weave together along the length of the exterior. There are plenty of places to splash and play, and even fun water sprays that kids love playing in.
If your crew likes to add a little adrenaline to their Caribbean play, the resort provides all of the equipment you need to snorkel, kayak or stand up paddleboard in the sparkling warm waters. Or, ramp up the fun with their offerings for adventure seekers and go parasailing, jet skiing or windsurfing.
You can also go on guided jungle and mangrove tours, or get really brave and swim with whale sharks! Isla Mujeres (Island of Women), can be seen from the shores of the resort and is only a quick ferry ride away from the resort’s marina. You can spend a whole day exploring the island by golf cart, shopping in the market place and relaxing on the beach for a change of scenery and an injection of real Mexican culture.

The Kids’ Club
One of the most incredible Resort Kids’ Clubs we’ve experienced, the 40,000 square foot designated area offers kids an innovative and interactive high-tech playground. It features an array of ground-breaking indoor and outdoor activities and play areas.
Designed for children between the ages of 3 and 12, the club has a theater, a play kitchen area, and an outdoor dinosaur-themed play area that has a kids’ splash pool as well! Additionally, the club offers organized activities and night camps that both kids and parents will love.

Gem Spa
Break away while the kids are having a blast in the Kids’ club and treat your self to a next-level spa experience. Gem Spa offers innovative treatments inspired by gemstone therapy and an incredible 10-step Hydrotherapy Ritual that takes you through a series of rooms (some hot and some cool) and then into the relaxing sensation pool. Body treatments include options like the Seventh Wonder Luxury Massage which lasts 80 minutes and includes having seven quartz stone placed on the seven corresponding chakras of the body along with an extended and encompassing massage.
The resort also has an onsite fitness room with all of the equipment you need to work off those tasty meals and cocktails and a salon. After you are done working out, indulge in a manicure, pedicure or try a new hairstyle and get a cut. There are also morning yoga classes available for those who like to start their day with a centering Aum.
Where to Eat
From the pool-side bar to the elegant international eatery, you’ll be hard pressed to find better food anywhere in Cancun should you decide to leave the resort. Grand Coral Beach Resort has six onsite eateries to choose from.
Vina Del Mar serves a decadent Champagne breakfast buffet with offerings that range from pastries and a variety of breads to made-to-order omelets to a variety of local delicacies.
Coral Cafe is a European-style bistro that serves light lunch and dinner menu items along with pastries and coffee.
Swim on up to the Bikini Bar where you can grab a craft cocktail and some ceviche or a sandwich if you prefer.
Isla Contoy is an outdoor eatery that serves authentic, traditional dishes under the canopy of a big palapa overlooking the sea. Their menu features fresh seafood and wonderful tropical drinks.
La Joya is guaranteed to be a family favorite. Entertainment dances across the walls as you nibble on the award-winning authentic Mexican Cuisine. You may even catch Live Mariachi music!
For a AAA Five Diamond dining experience, plan an evening at Le Basilic where chef Henri Charvet serves French Mediterranean cuisine. Menu items like seared scallops over chlorophyll leaves melt in your mouth and please even the pickiest of foodies.
