“Tumbleweed literally saved my son this summer – he has spent the last 4 months sitting on the couch. Coming to camp saved his life.” – Summer 2020 parent.

Come join hundreds of other campers in finding your place of true belonging this summer at Tumbleweed Day Camp. We are 100% unplugged – no screens, no apps, no social media stress. Instead of wasting time on technology, we make friends, share ideas, and laugh together. We explore all day long! With 100 private acres in sunny Los Angeles, the opportunities for fun are endless. Most importantly, we play. Children learn how to be their best selves through play. Our highly trained staff create caring, safe and supporting environments for this learning to happen.

You want the best for your child, and so do we. Give them the best camp experience available and register today for a summer at Tumbleweed Day Camp.

PetSpace Kids Camp is full of dogs, cats, and critters! At Wallis Annenberg PetSpace, registration is now available for summer dates with both online and in-person options. This year, children can enjoy two special camp offerings: Pet Pioneers and Critter Camp.

Pet Pioneers Camp sessions feature an in-depth look at the bonds we share with dogs and cats, along with how we help them find forever homes. Activities include Pet Encounters, photography sessions, and plenty of games.

Critter Camp gives campers an exciting look at our new Critter Corner. Meet ambassador animals who live at PetSpace and learn how small companion animals make great pets too. Kids will get an up-close look at a variety of critters, including a rabbit, snake, cockatiel, turtle, and more.

These five-day experiences begin June 21 and alternate camp themes each week. They’re designed for children ages 8-11 and offer an engaging exploration of the human-animal bond. Campers will learn about pet adoption, veterinary care, animal behavior, and more. Each child receives a camper pack, including t-shirt, crafts, and more, commemorating their experience.

Register now and celebrate our love of pets in a variety of fun activities and pet encounters!

Come build amazing eco-friendly creations with us! Tinkering Camp teaches children the skills they need to turn their wildest imaginings into robust items made from wood, plastic, metal, and fabric. While practicing social distancing with their own workbench and set of tools for the week, the group will have activities that encourage socialization and cooperation while building projects on their own to a group theme. With a 5:1 camper to facilitator ratio, our workshop provides a supportive environment for personal growth through skills development and creative construction. This is a COVID-modified version of our flagship program. For safety, and to facilitate making at home after camp is over, add on a new Tinkering Tool Kit to your tinkerer’s home makerspace at the end of the week.

Swords, Shakespeare, and Magic, Oh My!

Join us this summer for A Noise Within’s Summer with Shakespeare hybrid model camp. Students will have the exciting opportunity to work with professional artists and technicians both in person and remotely to gain an appreciation of Shakespeare’s verse, as well as a unique exposure to a variety of classic plays. Designed to challenge young artists to be scholars and performers of The Bard, this program enhances acting and public speaking skills, builds self-confidence, and offers invaluable experience in the crafts of the theatre.

After a year of being cooped up inside, we are excited to offer students a hybrid model, allowing them to work in person in the theater three days a week, socially distanced, and virtually two days a week.

This camp is open to students ages 6 to 18.  Whether they choose one week of camp or our five week fully-staged production program, they will learn to love all things Shakespeare while building confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills.

The camp runs June 14th through July 16th, please feel free to contact education@anoisewithin.org with any questions. Visit https://www.anoisewithin.org/education/shakespeare-summer-camp/ to book now!
