Families First has been a neighborhood institution in the BoCoCa/Downtown Brooklyn area for 40 years, as a “home away from home” for parents and caregivers of infants through preschool-aged children. The center is operating on a modified schedule, in order to keep children in small groups and not exposed to adults or children outside of their small class. Ms. Erin and Ms. Melissa teach in person classes in 3 levels; level 1 allows our youngest students (18 months- 2 years old) to feel secure in the classroom with their grown-up partners, while in Level 2 (2-2.5 years old), children separate from their grown-ups, but they are close by. Families First has ample space for adults to remain physically distant from one another. Level 3 is for our oldest students; it is a 3-hour drop-off class with multiple day options. Ms. Nanette will be returning with her online classes for children who are not able to come in to the center. Families First will also be opening our indoor playspace for scheduled, small groups of children as well. Come in for some winter fun!

WeBop Winter Term – Jazz Heroes
Live Virtual Classes
Jan 26–Mar 20, 2021

Jazz at Lincoln Center’s award-winning, early childhood jazz education program WeBop returns for a virtual winter term with classes focused on Jazz Heroes! WeBop is perfect for children ages eight months to seven years. Nurture your child’s natural ability to improvise, encourage them to explore creativity, and enjoy bonding time during these live, interactive classes. Our intimate class sizes are limited to 10 families per session, allowing for direct interaction with your instructor and building a sense of community with fellow families.

During the winter term, we will explore the lively personalities and swingin’ music of Jazz Heroes such as Louis Armstrong, Charles Mingus, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more. Together with your child, each week we’ll take giant steps, discover our own style, make music with our friends, and so much more.

Share your love of jazz with your children and register today! To learn more, visit jazz.org/webop.
