Green Meadow Waldorf School is one of about 300 Waldorf Schools in the United States and approximately 1,000 Waldorf Schools internationally. Rather than teaching to the test or adhering to Common Core standards, the Waldorf curriculum fosters independent, critical thinking and problem solving, develops ethics and morality, and promotes true joy in learning.

As one of the largest and oldest Waldorf schools in the US, we currently have about 200 students in Nursery through Twelfth Grade. We offer a Parent & Child program for babies and toddlers from birth to age three. Our 11-acre wooded campus includes outdoor classrooms, farm, fields, streams, and a Forest Preschool; small class sizes help keep your child safe and seen. We offer busing from NYC!

Many parents are wondering what life will look like in September. At Green Meadow Waldorf School, we are adhering to our core principles: equity, safety, predictability and rhythm, relationships, a full five-day program, place-based education, education of the whole person, flexibility, and community.
