See San Francisco like you’ve never seen before! In celebration of Golden Gate Park’s 150th anniversary, the long-awaited SkyStar Observation Wheel is open and offering public rides.

Standing 150 feet in the Music Concourse, the state-of-the-art SkyStar Observation Wheel features 36 enclosed temperature-controlled gondolas, boasting unparalleled views from downtown to the Pacific Ocean. Health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are strictly enforced.

Each gondola accommodates six people and provides four complete rotations in approximately 12 minutes. Colorful LED lights illuminate the towering Observation Wheel nightly. The Wheel evokes Golden Gate Park’s past, when the 120-foot tall “Firth Wheel” dazzled visitors to the California Midwinter Fair of 1894.

Elevate your date night, or a night out with friends, with our VIP experience! Skip the line when you take an extended flight of 20 minutes in our VIP gondola with leather seats and hardwood floors. A VIP flight fits up to 5 people and is the ultimate private experience.

Don’t miss out, the SkyStar Observation Wheel is only here through October 2021.

Public hours are Monday through Friday, 12 Noon to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For ticket reservations, visit www.skystarwheel.com.
