From snorkeling with sharks to touring the Scripps Pier and hands-on animal encounters, there is no shortage of fun at Birch Aquarium this summer.

As the public outreach center for Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego, the aquarium offers a unique opportunity for children to learn about the ocean. Campers ages 4 to 13 will explore underwater worlds, meet ocean creatures, create crafts, play games and more!

Summer camps range from immersive half-day experiences at the aquarium for younger campers to full-day adventures, including snorkeling and surfing at La Jolla Shores, for older campers.

FUN ARTS CAMPS!

Encore Creative Arts Camp specializes in Visual, Media, and Performing Arts programs for kids ages 7 to 15, plus special Camps for 4-6 year olds.

Camps are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with additional after care programs. Nine weeks of engaging camps that your kids will love with focused classroom and outdoor activities.

Camps include Musical Theatre, Mad Science, Anime, Magic, Media and Film, Photography and more!

Encore Creative Arts students will have hands-on opportunities to create, perform, and have an art exhibit and/or sharing for friends and family at the end of each camp. Students will become skilled in the camp of their choice, learn to collaborate and communicate through their art form, and create lasting memories.
