As America’s Living Symbol of Freedom, the USS Midway Museum is dedicated to providing engaging and educational experiences that strengthen our future generations. Now through Dec. 15, two kids, ages 12 and younger, can visit for free with the purchase of a full-paid adult ticket. This offer is a great way for families to experience firsthand the legacy of the Midway through the museum’s extensive collection of restored military aircraft that span more than 70 years of naval aviation history. Visitors will also be captivated by ship’s award-winning audio tour. World famous Midway volunteers will bring the ship’s flight deck to life with mesmerizing stories of launching and landing naval aircraft as well as tales of their adventures on the high seas.
Guest safety is paramount and the Midway has instituted a wide range of onboard health protocols including the wearing of appropriate face coverings; touchless, non-evasive temperature checks; six-foot physical distancing measures; nearly 200 hand-sanitizer stations; and transmission barriers and contactless payment at point-of-sales locations.
San Diego’s #1 attraction, the Midway is currently focusing the onboard guest experience to the flight and hangar decks.
