Christmas is just a few days away, but it’s not too late to give to those in need this holiday season. You don’t even need to stand in a long checkout line, with a few keyboard clicks you can hop online and give a gift that will put a smile on the face of a child affected by Hurricane Maria.

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has partnered with Toys”R”Us, Telemundo, Hispanic Federation, and R.Evolución Latina to gift toys to kids in Puerto Rico whose lives were affected by Hurricane Maria. The toy drive hopes to send 10,000 toys to kids on Three Kings Days, which is celebrated on January 6, 2018. “One of the greatest and most indescribable pleasures I remembered as a kid was receiving a gift during Three Kings Day, a celebration we all keep in my family” said Miranda. “This holiday season in Puerto Rico, so many kids could go without gifts for Three Kings Day and that is truly heartbreaking. If there is anything the last three months have taught us, is that the spirit of generosity and unselfish humanity is alive and well in our country. All you have to do is visit the Toys”R”Us website and make a gift. Together, we can bring some holiday cheer to thousands of children in Puerto Rico on January 6.”

To help, all you need to do is log on to and donate a gift of $5, $10 or $20. That money will then go towards the purchase of toys from a suggested list on the site. The gifts will be distributed to kids during the Three Kings Day celebrations on January 6.
