Yes, it’s actually true: Hershey’s and Reese’s whipped cream in a can really does exist! Back in June, Instagram user Markie_devo spread the rumor that the chocolate and peanut butter whipped topping was hitting stores the third week in July—and here we are. Like the once-mythical narwhal, these tasty treats have actually been spotted in the wild!

Photos of these elusive and fluffy treats are popping up all over Instagram, and while it’s only been spotted at a few select Hy-Vees and a Family Dollar, we’re all hoping they won’t be in such limited release for long. Recent news shows limited release for now but a definitive date for nationwide distribution.

Today, Aug. 30 Kraft has released a press release stating that both the milk chocolate and peanut butter whipped toppings will hit national shelves in October! The products will be sold in 7 oz. cans in the refrigerated dairy aisle for $2.99-$3.99 per can––money well spent and just in time for the holidays.

The press release details that both whipped topping flavors are made with 100% real cream from cows not treated with rBST growth hormone, and contain no high-fructose corn syrup, oil ingredients, and artificial sweeteners or flavors. Additionally, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate is made with Hershey’s cocoa.

Now all we have to do is wait until October.
