The magical franchise that started with Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray is finally getting the holiday treatment with a new Christmas-themed Cinderella Story movie.
A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish stars Laura Marano stepping into the role of Katherine “Kat” Decker. As an aspiring singer, Kat takes a job working as a singing elf at a Christmas fair where she meets Nick, the tree lot’s Santa played by Gregg Sulkin––and the rest is holiday magic.

Kat is invited to attend the holiday gala, but her jealous stepsisters and stepmother try to get in the way of her Christmas wish, of course. It wouldn’t be a Cinderella Story without them! Chances are pretty good it will be a happy ending for the couple, if the previous movies are any indication.
A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish will be the fifth film in the franchise which debuted in 2004. The new movie will be released this fall on digital and Blu Ray, but you can check out the exclusive first trailer at EW here.
