One of your fave cereals is back: Honey Smacks cereal will make its grand return to retailers nationwide after a massive recall kept boxes off shelves for months this past summer.
In June 2018, Kellogg’s voluntarily recalled its popular Honey Smacks cereal, following a multi-state Salmonella outbreak. As of the end of September, illnesses related to consumption of the affected boxes of cereal totaled 135—with 34 hospitalizations, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The last reported illness onset was Aug. 29.

It has a deliciously sweet flavor you can look forward to every morning and we’re excited to relaunch the beloved cereal to our loyal fans this fall.”
