Hey dessert-lovers, the most magical place in the world just got better. At least, it just got better in a sweet, sweet sugar-coated way. The Disneyland Churro Challenge is here and it’s ridiculously rad.
So what is the “Churro Challenge” and how can you take it? Well, to start with, you need to be an annual pass holder. The Challenge, which was created to celebrate Pixar Fest, is dessert-ing at its best. Along with the parades, music and other Pixar-themed fun, Disneyland’s celebration of animation awesomeness also includes their Churro Challenge, going on now through Jun. 8.
To start your sugary journey, challengers need to buy a map for $5. Maps are available (again, to annual pass holders) at the following locations: the Frontierland Churro Cart, Town Square Churro Cart, Main Street, U.S.A., New Orleans Square Churro Cart and “a bug’s land” Churro Cart. Not surprisingly, those tasty, tasty churros are available at each of the locations, too.
Just follow the map to each location. Then feast on the four different churro flavors, which include the Coco Churro (spiced cocoa, inspired by Coco), Kevin’s Churro (lemon flavor, inspired by UP!), Presto Rabbit Churro (carrot cake flavor, inspired by the Pixar short) and Ants on a Log Churro (donut-iced cereal flavor, inspired by It’s a Bug’s Life). Um, yum!
As you cruise by each churro cart and pick up a tasty treat, you’ll get a sticker for your map. Bring the sticker-covered map to the AP Corner in Paradise Gardens and get a commemorative surprise. That is, in addition to all those yum-mazing churros.
