National Cookie Day is December 4th. Yes, that’s right! It is almost time for one of the most magical days of the year — the day that celebrates the sugary, sweet treats that we know as cookies. Yum! Not only is it National Cookie Day, but it’s also the 40th anniversary of the famed cookie-maker, Mrs. Fields. If you’re all about the ooey gooey-ness of Mrs. Fields Cookies, you’re going to want to keep reading. Seriously.

Forty years ago, Debi Fields was 19-years-old. But she wasn’t your typical teen. Nope. She was an entrepreneur. Or at least, she’d quickly become one. When she launched her cookie company in Palo Alto, California, Fields couldn’t have envisioned that her cookies would become one of the most recognizable (and wildly successful) dessert brands — ever.
In celebration of a fabulous forty years, Mrs. Fields is giving the first 400 people to visit their locations nationwide a free cookie (that’s one cookie each) on December 4th. So if you’re already drooling, thinking about a chocolatey or sugary Mrs. Fields Cookie, get there early on National Cookie Day. Come on, who doesn’t love free cookies?
