Celebrities, they’re just like us. Um, not really. But sometimes they do things that are soooooo you IRL. Case in point, Jennifer Garner is helping her daughter sell Girl Scout Cookies. And yeah, that might kind of give her kiddo’s troop a bit of an unfair advantage.

The mom of three took to the streets, or rather to the sidewalk in front of her local grocery store, to help sell the sweet treat faves. Garner later posted a pic of herself holding the GS cookie sign, helping her daughter (like many of us regular non-celebrity mamas do). The actress captioned the photo, on both Instagram and Facebook, “Why yes, kind sir, we do have Thin Mints.”

Hmm. That, “kind sir” seems to refer to the shopper who is walking out of the store and pointing at the superstar turned sidewalk Samoa salesperson.

This isn’t Garner’s first time around the Girl Scout Cookie selling block. At least, not as a parent. During a 2016 interview on Live with Kelly and Michael, the actress/mom/troop leader talked about how “Nobody cares” that she’s a major movie star, adding, “I’m just there with the troop.”

Kelly applauded the actress for her efforts with, “You’re a movie star and a mom selling cookies.” That pretty much sums it up. So maybe we’re not so much like the movie star part. But the mom selling cookies part is something that plenty of us can relate to.
