Sure, you can teach your kids to go out and save the planet (or at least, plant a seed), but sometimes the only thing our future eco-kiddos want to do is watch TV. So why not let the screen guide them? Inspire the next generation with shows and movies that get even the littlest of kids thinking about the Earth—and their place on it.

Ready, Jet, Go!

Who better to explore the Earth than someone who’s not from here? In Ready, Jet, Go, a young alien named Jet Propulsion poses as an Earthling so he can learn more about our planet and its neighbors. Jet tackles pretty big questions—What is gravity? How does sound travel? Why does the moon change shape?—but he and his bubbly Bortonian parents (from the fictional planet Bortronia) make it all preschool-friendly with snappy songs and goofy dialogue.
