From play kitchens to big kitchens, from a very early age kids love emulating mom and dad and playing the role of pint-sized chef.

You may end up with more on the floor than the plate, but getting kids involved in the kitchen it’s a great way to introduce them to eating healthy and learning that food doesn’t just magically appear on the table every day.

We’ve teamed up with Kids Cook Monday to bring you an easy to make weekly recipe where you can easily get your little ones involved from prep to finish. Kids Cook Monday is part of the The Monday Campaigns which is a grass roots national movement that dedicates the first day of every week to health. Every Monday, they encourage families to join together and get on board with living healthy.

The Kids Cook Monday program provides examples of family friendly recipes and video demonstrations along with a free starter family dinner tool kit-making it easy for families to cook and eat together every Monday. We will be featuring one of their exciting and easy to prepare recipes each week in our Food Newsletter.
