Heat up the lobster thermidor and get ready to celebrate. The sequel to The LEGO Movie hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but there’s already confirmation that a LEGO Batman movie sequel is in the works, too.

A fan of the LEGO movies took to Twitter recently to gush over how much she loved The LEGO Batman Movie and tweeted to the movie’s director, Chris McKay, to ask if a sequel might be in the works. Amazingly, McKay actually replied to the tweet revealing that yes, fans should get pumped for more LEGO Batman action.

“We are working on that [right now] actually!” McKay tweeted in response. While the director revealed no other details, he did promise fans they would get plenty of LEGO Batman humor with Will Arnett voicing the character in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. “In the meantime LEGO Batman is all over LEGO 2 coming in February,” he teased.

Besides the return of LEGO Batman, the latest trailer for The LEGO Movie 2 revealed some new characters will join the brick-based universe, including a double billing for Chris Pratt who will play both Emmet and new character Rex Dangervest.
