Not all little girls visiting Disney World are lining up to meet a princess. One four-year-old proved the force is strong with her when she took on a parade of Star Wars villains in order to meet her idol, Rey.

In a viral video shared on Instagram account Disney.Bound.Family, four-year-old Vanessa stands her ground, channeling the force, while a parade including Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren and numerous Storm Troopers march right up to where she is standing dressed as a mini Rey. Finally, the villains give way to Rey and Chewbacca and Vanessa’s reaction is pure Disney magic.

In honor of Galaxy's Edge opening to the public this month at Hollywood Studios, I wanted to reshare this AMAZING experience we had with Vanessa.⠀ ⠀ She was chosen to fight and protect all of us there at the park. There were some close calls, but she used the force with all her might (ok, except she was waving at the bad guys 🤣).⠀ ⠀ I can't wait to see what other experiences my little Rey will have once we enter Galaxy's Edge! We will definitely be dressing them up soon! ⠀ ⠀ #starwars #starwarscosplay #starwarsfans #starwarslife #starwarslaunchbay #disneyobsessed #disneycosplay #disneybound #disneyaddict #disneystyle #disneygram #disneyside #disneylove #disneyparks #disneylife #disneymagic #instadisney #disneyvideo #galaxysedge #abc7eyewitness #hollywoodstudios #disneyinsta #hollywoodstudios30 #disneyfamily #disneyfanatic #disneyaddicts #ohmydisney #disneyfun #waltdisneyworld #disneygrammers

“Rey is her favorite Star Wars character,” Vanessa’s mom Candace told POPSUGAR. “She loves dressing up as a warrior type. She really gets so into the character and will even get mad if I call her by her real name when she’s in costume. She’ll say, ‘Mom, I’m not Vanessa!'”

I just want to say that I am SO INCREDIBLY grateful for all of you on here who follow our adventures. Thank you to all of you who like, comment and enjoy our pictures and videos. ⠀ ⠀ We have hit over 837k views on Facebook with @wesh2! I honestly cannot believe it! ⠀ ⠀ The numbers are not what it is about for us. It's always a plus, but it's not the most important. My children having a wonderful childhood is a main priority! ⠀ ⠀ I shared our video with the news stations over the weekend and I honestly happy cried when I saw @fox35news actually played it on TV! ⠀ ⠀ @hamillhimself posted a VERY similar video of a different child, not my 4 year old. A lot of people have been getting us confused and tagging me. I am happy another child was shared too! This experience happened a few times a day after the stage show. ⠀ ⠀ For us, this is one of the most memorable days at Hollywood Studios. We were chosen for this special experience, which I definitely cried during too! Then Rey actually made a special appearance at the park, which is why we were there. It was SUCH an amazing day. ⠀ ⠀ I hope to continue sharing with you guys what is to come and we are so excited to see Galaxy's Edge soon! Thank you all again for the support! 🧡💜❤💚💙⠀ ⠀ And thank you @disneyphotopass for the amazing pictures as always! ⠀ ⠀ #starwars #starwarscosplay #starwarslife #hollywoodstudios #hollywoodstudios30 #disneyobsessed #disneycosplay #disneybound #disneyaddict #disneystyle #disneygram #disneyside #chewbacca #disneyig #cosplaycommunity #disneylife #disneymagic #instadisney #disneyphotopass #disneypic #abc7eyewitness #cosplaykids #disneyinsta #disnerd #disneyfriends #disneycommunity #cosplaycommunity #mostmagicalplaceonearth #waltdisneyworld #rey
