Food halls are quickly sweeping the city and it’s easy to see why—they allow you to outwit LA traffic and get your errands done all while you eat dinner. We rounded up the city’s very best one-stop shops to grab a bite with kids and take something home for later.

Spring Arcade

This downtown spot is still developing, but it is quickly becoming a food hall hotspot with new restaurants regularly opening in the massive glass-ceilinged building. The architecture alone is worth at least a stroll through the long hall. Then when you build up an appetite you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

Kids Will Love: The massive pastries at Austrian BierBeisl Imbiss (perfect for an impromptu Oktoberfest celebration) are a must-try to nibble now and take home, too. For a cool treat, grab some scoops of small-batch house-made gelato at Gelateria Uli.
