Sweet toothed kiddos (and mamas with a hankering for sugar) of Los Angeles take note. Dylan’s Candy bar, a family-favorite staple of New York, Houston and Florida, is bringing their special brand of sweet to the Original Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles. The brainchild of Dylan Lauren, Dylan’s Candy Bar is so much more than your normal candy shop. Stepping into Dylan’s Candy Bar is like stepping into Candy Land, except with so many more choices (5,000 kinds of candy, to be exact).
Located at the Original Farmer’s Market, Dylan’s Candy Bar will officially open in September, though if your fam can’t wait to score a sugar high you can beeline it over there since the end of August marked the store’s soft opening. Whether you’re into chocolate, sour gummies, or hard candy, Dylan’s has it all. Seriously folks, you’ll be hard pressed to find a candy you and your kiddos won’t love. Your kids can mix and match their favorites with a bulk container or choose from the variety of Dylan’s prepackaged goodies (there’s even sugar-free options).
The Los Angeles outpost will host all of the colorful and delicious varieties of candy as the other location, except this first West Coast shop will boast a special L.A. gummy mixture that includes gummies in the shapes of palm trees, cell phones, movie cameras, sunglasses and the sun. How fitting for Tinseltown, right?
While the L.A. location won’t host a party room like their New York City shop, Dylan’s Candy Bar staff can still bring the Candy Bar’s signature goodies and flare to your party. They have a celebrations specialist (now that sounds like a fun job!) that will work with you on a personal level to create custom candy bars for whatever special occasion you choose. Ah-hem, your next kids birthday party? Just sayin’.
Dylan told us herself that she chose the Original Farmer’s Market as her first West Coast location because it was always one of her favorite places to visit when she would visit L.A. and she’s always wanted to open a store there.
Sugar for the kiddos — yay or nay? Will you be checking out Dylan’s Candy Shop, the first ever Dylan’s store on the West Coast?
