Missing those leisurely “grown up” brunches you used to take before you had kids? Fear not, BLD is a grown up place that just so happens to be kid and dog friendly too! So brunch is back in Los Angeles and this time it’s with the entire family.

BLD is a fun, lively, chic, busy Beverly Boulevard neighborhood restaurant with an inspired menu, serving up a bevy of new and classic brunch favorites. Although, they don’t have a kids’ menu yet, there are tons of tasty choices that will keep your culinary yearnings satisfied and keep your kids smiling too.

At BLD you’ll feel like your old self, sipping Bloody Marys from their full bar, or sharing a French press coffee and biting into savory braised pork and poached eggs, topped with a zingy citrus hollandaise sauce. Meanwhile, your kids will go wild for their homemade, made-to-order crepes filled with bananas and Nutella. If you can’t decide between sweet or savory, why not split a house-made turkey sausage frittata and a ricotta blueberry pancake (pictured) with Berkshire maple syrup with your little one! You can’t lose with this winning combination and you’ll even share a lesson in compromise to boot.

Brunch in LA is rarely without a lengthy wait… but, if you have kids you’re probably up WAY earlier than the regular Hollywood masses so you’re in luck. Brunch at BLD starts at 8:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Be sure to book the best seats, which are definitely outside. There, you’ll always find fellow parents, kids, several strollers and the ultimate LA accessory, pampered pooches, eagerly awaiting table scraps.

BLD is a great brunch spot that allows you to still eat at the adult table but now your kids can pull up a high chair and join you too. So why not make this your new brunch weekend tradition. Kids are more than welcome!
