the scoop:

Want to see a saber-toothed cat come to life?  You can!  Thousands of these cats were excavated from the La Brea Tar Pits and they wanted to show kids what these cool prehistoric cats really looked like when they moved, so they went to the folks at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop (you know, the people who made Miss Piggy and Kermit!) to help.  The result?  A snarling, prowling Saber-Toothed Cat and her 2-month-old baby (named Nibbles) make a special appearance right before your very eyes.

Shows at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12 p.m. every Friday.  (They also have shows on the weekend at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. )

Warning: the shows depict a realistic prehistoric animal and may be frightening for very small children.
